Nexus Gen II from Element Optics has a 50 mm lens diameter that promotes proper light transmission. This ensures that there is always enough light to aim effectively at your target, even in low light conditions. An important aspect that contributes to effective aiming is magnification. This scope has a 4-25x magnification, making it ideal for aiming over medium to long ranges. The magnification is easily adjusted thanks to the magnification wheel on the eyepiece, but with the use of the throw lever it makes the experience even more convenient. You receive a throw lever with Nexus, which you can use to increase the usability of the magnification wheel. The eyepiece has an eye relief of 77-92 mm.
With Nexus Gen 2 you have the choice between two different sights, and you can even choose between MRAD and MOA. Whichever you choose, the sight is always placed on the first image plane. This means it zooms in when you magnify, so it always shows the correct distances. The sight is even illuminated, which means it will remain perfectly visible regardless of the lighting conditions. You can choose from no less than ten different brightness levels. Activating the illuminated sight can be done by holding the button on top of the parallax tower. Switching between the different brightness levels is done by pressing the button once.
The turrets on the Nexus Gen II 4-25x50 have been redesigned from its predecessor. A cover is placed over the wind tower to protect it from the elements. The elevation tower and windage tower both have an adjustment of 0.1 MRAD/1/4 MOA per audible click, making it possible to adjust both easily and precisely. There is a rotation indicator located just below the height adjustment tower, which indicates which rotation you are in. Of course, Nexus also has a built-in zero-stop mechanism.
