The improvement within the M3 starts with its dual regulators. The first regulator reduces the air pressure in preparation for the second regulator. This puts less strain on the 2nd regulator and achieves a more constant output pressure with lower standard deviations.

FX Power Plenum 720 is the new energy source in Impact M3. This larger diameter plenum with its 72 cc compressed air volume provides both the exact amount of air and the power needed to propel the projectile forward. The new plenum works in coordination with the M3's porting and venting to deliver the best available power and efficiency.

One of the most significant upgrades to the Impact M3 is the user interface for the rifle: the Quick Tune System. This tool-free system includes everything a shooter needs to fine-tune the precision of their rifle, providing unlimited possibilities. Adjust the air pressure used by the rifle via the dual regulators, how long the valve stays open with the front valve adjustment, and now adjust the power of the hammer with the newly designed micro and macro power adjustments. The rear Macro Power Wheel is a 16-step wheel that adjusts the power of the hammer in steps of 5-15 FPS (depending on caliber and regulator pressure). This works in conjunction with Micro Fine Adjustment. This adjusts the hammer force in very small increments of just 1-2 fps with each click of the adjustment screw. The only addition is the new Power Block with larger valve (it has been standard on all models produced in 2022)

Other improvements are numerous and include an enlarged grip loading arm, dual transfer ports on most calibers, much lower barrel tolerances for a closer fit and increased accuracy, lower tolerances around the Side-Shot magazine insert, an updated trigger, 20 MOA built into the scope mount rail, dual Wika gauges and a plethora of upcoming accessories.
