If you're not familiar with products from KalibrGun, then you've probably already noticed that the price indicates something very special in this airgun. Cricket is known worldwide among enthusiasts for its high quality and high precision - Giles Barry from Airgun Gear Show has even stated that Cricket is one of the most accurate PCPs he has ever tried. One of the most important elements of the Cricket is the regulator. It's of such high quality and so uniform in the joints that the power curve is completely flat in the range from 200 to 80 bar with an output speed of 240 m/s. Another special part is the barrel, which is a hammer-forged CZ-barrel with 12 grooves. The two elements together allow you to outperform even the best. There are many tests with the Cricket and it's hole-in-hole at 50 meters, so it's a very high quality rifle.
The air tank has a capacity of 280cc and is approved for a working pressure of 300 bar. In fact, it is safety tested up to 450 bar. This in itself allows you to empty a relatively large number of magazines before you need to refill the tank.
The stock is wide but the ergonomic lines, pistol grip and recesses in the fore-end ensure that you get a very comfortable grip on the rifle. The stock also has a built-in holder for four magazines that are held in place with magnets - a very smart way to prepare your magazines from home. The magazines in the 4.5 mm version hold 14 rounds, so it's quite a large magazine that's wide enough to also hold JSB Predator Polymag.
The front of the barrel has an integrated silencer and it does an excellent job of dampening the sound so that you only notice a slight "whistle" when firing. When shooting at metal objects, the sound of the pellet hitting the metal will be significantly louder than the shot itself. Note that this type of integrated silencer does NOT require permission from the police.
Cricket is sold without open sights, so you must purchase a scope that fits the mounted Picatinny rail.
Note: Diving bottle/hand pump for the rifle must be purchased.
